The Motion C5 is the first product in the new Mobile Clinical Assistance (MCA) devices for use in the health care industry.

Based on input from thousands of clinicians and technology from Intel Health the Motion C5 is a lightweight yet highly durable tablet pc designed to be used by Nurses and Care Staff as they work.

The Motion C5 uses its design and built in technologies to ensure that Nurses and Care Staff have a more streamlined and efficient workflow while at the point of care.

With Intel® Centrino® mobile technology and integrated high-speed wireless connectivity, the Motion C5 allows access to a residents electronic medical record (EMR) from anywhere in the wireless area network.

The built-in bar-code scanner and RFID scanner can be used to correctly identify residents and medication to help reduce the risk of errors.

The built in camera can be used to photograph wounds, surgical sites, pressure sores, and other items that can then be stored directly into the residents EMR.

Its LCD screen is finished with a splash-proof seal, and the entire unit is easily wiped clean to enable disinfection. Use the C5, wipe if off, then keep working confidently knowing that you are helping to maintain a sanitary healthcare environment.Â
